Back Shoulder Roll
If you were one of those kids who spent your days rolling down grassy hills or doing “gymnastics” performances at any opportunity, the backwards floor roll may feel a little nostalgic for you! This is a move that is very useful for many advanced pole moves such as shoulder mount rollover, backsault and bicep grip flip but is also commonly used in floorwork and choreography. This move is suitable for all levels but if you are struggling to get your bum off the ground, have a go at the invert conditioning video to strengthen your abs. Happy rolling!
